Thinky Things 3
We have been working hard on the draft of Thinky Things 3 and the copy is now with the publisher. It’s been a long time in coming. Thinky Things 1 was published in 2004 and Thinky Things 2 in 2011. God willing we plan to have it ready for 2025 to celebrate 25 years of Thinky Things (I had been writing them for a while before we published the first book). Can’t wait!
Sharon’s Segment – Elevated Thinking
A great thought from Sharon this week as we make our way through reading Hebrews:
“Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest” Hebrews 3 v 1.
I love the concept of this instruction – ‘fix your thoughts on Jesus.’ However, I must admit I don’t do it very often or consistently. Many urgent, worried, unimportant, emotional, mundane, unhelpful – even sinful – thoughts occupy my brain on a day-to-day basis. Fixing my thoughts on Christ is often only a fleeting event.
