1 Corinthians 1
I FEEL WEAK

I often feel spiritually weak. I fall to temptation, I get things wrong, I don’t feel as if I am as dedicated as I should be, and sometimes it feels like I am not making a difference at all. But I was encouraged reading about the grace of God given to us as I read my Bible this morning.

Paul said, “I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. … He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” (1 Corinthians 1 v 4, 8 – 9).

Yes, I am weak, but God is faithful. In his grace he will keep me strong and blameless. He is faithful to do what he has promised.

What an amazing God we have who makes up for our weaknesses! His grace spurs me on to be stronger and more faithful to him.

May God’s strength be seen in our lives this week.
