Shalom,
The new Thinky Days 2026 diaries have finally landed in Australia! They look great with hard covers and metal spiral binding, along with all the features you have come to expect in a Thinky Days diary. It’s been a long wait, and for those of us in New Zealand, it looks like we will have to wait a bit longer because the Kiwi ones are still in transit, due to land in about a week, and then to process through customs.
If you are not in New Zealand (or you want your diary as soon as possible) get your order in to Beth Symes at cbandlagents@gmail.com, and she will be able to get them out to you straight away.
If you are in New Zealand, place your order now by emailing robert@thinkythings.com so I can get them shipped off to you as soon as they land.

Hallelujah,
Robert

How often do we ask something of God in prayer, then rush on with our lives, still trying to fix the situation in our own way?

Habakkuk showed us a great example of someone who asked things of God then waited for God’s reply. After his question, he tells us what he did: “I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.” (Habakkuk 2 v 1).

We should be doing just what Habakkuk did. Habakkuk was purposefully waiting for an answer from God. He was intently listening to hear God answer his question. Habakkuk went to a specific place while he waited for an answer from God, but for us it could be anywhere. When we ask a question of God, it is so important to be patient enough to wait for the answer and to apply ourselves to listening to God in whatever way he might speak to us.

Habakkuk seems to have heard God’s voice. We might hear God in our circumstances, through reading his word, from the words of a friend, in a song, or in some other way. But do we actually take time to listen?

How rude we are when we ask a question but don’t take time to listen for the answer! Let’s be like Habakkuk and listen intentionally to what God has to say to us.

May we listen to what God has to say this weekend and obey him.

With love in our Lord,
Robert
