2 Chronicles 30
FOUR STEPS TO FAITHFULNESS

Hezekiah wrote to all the faithless people who had been left in Israel, urging them to turn back to the LORD. As he invited them to come to the Passover Feast he had organized, he gave them this encouragement:
“Do not now be stiff-necked as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the LORD and come to his sanctuary, which he has consecrated for ever, and serve the LORD your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.” (2 Chronicles 30 v 8 ESV).
Maybe you and I are not as faithless as the people of Israel were, but in order to stay faithful, the same steps are still ours to take.
- Let’s not get proud or so set in our ways that we cannot change and turn to God.
- We need to yield ourselves to God. Find out what he wants from us, and do what he wants us to do.
- We need to come into his sanctuary where we can worship God while being encouraged to continue serving him.
- And we need to serve God in any way we can.
Let’s stay faithful to him.
May we put faithfulness into practice this week.
With love in our Lord, and may he bless your day of worship today.
